Pass The Respect For Marriage Act

What a historic week! The U.S. Senate  passed the Respect for Marriage Act, which would enshrine marriage equality in federal law, granting protections to same-sex and interracial couples. This bill still must pass the House, but the bipartisan vote in the Senate is a great step forward.. As made clear when Roe v. Wade was overturned, we must take every precaution to protect people’s fundamental rights.
