While we count our blessings that Hurricane Dorian’s impacts on our communities here in Florida will be minimal, the families and neighborhoods of our closest Caribbean neighbor, just 50 miles off our coast, have been utterly devastated.

Ron DeSantis signed a bill to create three major new toll roads that will destroy large swaths of Florida’s last remaining rural lands, pollute waterways, and threaten endangered wildlife including the iconic Florida manatee and panther.
