For too long, Florida policymakers have enacted obstacle after obstacle to prevent women from exercising their reproductive rights. Whether it’s arbitrarily contrived waiting periods, burdensome requirements on abortion clinics, patients and their doctors, or efforts to defund organizations that provide abortion care, enough is enough.

It’s simply astounding that despite all of the terrible things Donald Trump has said throughout the presidential campaign – and particularly his recently revealed comments about women – that Sen. Marco Rubio has refused to renounce his support for Trump.
“We urge you to coordinate efforts with local health departments and other public health entities in order to effectively promote available resources and coordinate preventive care efforts, as well as earmarking a portion of any federal funds to expand resources for family planning education and services.”
