Hundreds of Floridians have signed up to volunteer with the Gillum/Nelson/Fried election recount effort. If you’re one of those volunteers, thank you! You will soon be, if not already, contacted by phone. Please answer unidentified numbers as it may be a volunteer trying to get in touch with you.
Here’s where things stand: Three statewide election recounts are happening as we speak. These recounts include: Governor – Andrew Gillum (D) vs. Ron DeSantis (R); U.S. Senate – Bill Nelson (D) vs. Rick Scott (R); and Commissioner of Agriculture – Nikki Fried (D) vs. Matt Caldwell (R). Progress Florida and a coalition of our allies are working to ensure that every vote is counted and counted accurately. This unprecedented statewide effort needs volunteers and volunteer attorneys to participate.
