Supremely Qualified

President Biden’s nominee to be the next U.S. Supreme Court Justice, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, brings experience and expertise that will help ensure every person – not just the wealthy and powerful – will have equal justice under the law.

During her nomination hearing, the U.S. Senate and the country have seen her deep commitment to the rule of law, love of country, and her record of impartiality. Judge Jackson told the committee Monday, “I have dedicated my career to ensuring that the words engraved on the front of the Supreme Court building—”Equal Justice Under Law” — are a reality and not just an ideal.” Her record in doing just that is one of many reasons why she has the support of Democratic and Republican leaders, law enforcement organizations, and criminal justice reform advocates, and it’s why she’s been confirmed by the Senate three times before.

Let’s ensure the successful appointment of a supremely brilliant and qualified nominee, and make history by having the first Black woman judge on the highest court in the land.

Urge U.S. Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The attacks on Judge Jackson by some GOP leaders are as predictable as they are false. She deserves to be considered on the merits of her experience – including as a judge in nearly 600 federal court cases across issues and as a public defender who has represented many people – not attacked for the purpose of advancing an extremist political agenda.

We cannot take this confirmation for granted and must combat the partisan attacks and disinformation targeting her nomination.

Judge Jackson will strengthen the Supreme Court’s commitment to fairness. Her record reflects her stellar qualifications as a fair-minded jurist.

Urge Florida’s U.S. Senators to confirm the appointment of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Judge Jackson is already generating bipartisan support for her nomination. Her record speaks for itself. She has more judicial experience than four of the current Justices had combined at the time they were nominated. She has received support from civil and human rights organizations, academia, colleagues in the judiciary, and law enforcement organizations. Judge Jackson’s impressive and accomplished career makes her a fantastic choice to become a member of the U.S. Supreme Court.
