A bill that would delay access to abortion care even for victims of rape and incest is one step closer to becoming law. Please join us in opposition to this backwards bill that belongs in the 1960s, not 2015!
A bill that would delay access to abortion care even for victims of rape and incest is one step closer to becoming law. SB 724, the 24-hour mandatory delay bill, will be heard in its LAST COMMITTEE STOP Monday, April 20th at 1:00pm and we need to pack the room in support of women’s health. Please join us in opposition to this backwards bill that belongs in the 1960s, not 2015!
Burdensome state laws like SB 724 that require a mandatory delay before a woman can get an abortion have no basis in science. Decisions about whether – and when – to end a pregnancy must be left to a woman, her family, and her faith, with the counsel of her doctor.
Let’s not turn back the clock on women’s access to health care. Click here to RSVP for Monday’s committee meeting. Pink shirts will be provided.
