As Hurricane Ian passed Florida it left devastation in its wake. Our hearts go out to those affected by this disaster. Please use the resources linked below to donate, volunteer, and share.
Feeding Florida– Feeding Florida’s food banks are on the ground providing food, water, and resources to those affected by Hurricane Ian. They worked with over 2,400 partner agencies in 2021 to distribute more than 524 million pounds of food to those in need.
Florida Disaster Fund– The State of Florida’s private fund assists Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster.
Florida Hurricane Relief Fund– A fund also connected to Volunteer Florida and Florida Disaster Fund. They raise money to help Floridians with relief and recovery through strengthening families and rebuilding communities.
American Red Cross– To donate online, text “REDCROSS” to 90999 to make a $10 donation. AT&T customers can make a $10 donation via their phone bill by texting “IAN” to 90999. They are also looking for blood donations.
Farm Share– Florida’s largest independent food bank. Their mission is to help food-insecure Floridians receive the food and support they need. Farm Share partners with more than 2,000 food pantries across the state.
