The Program Coordinator handles a wide range of tasks relating to specific programs/ projects as assigned and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter able to get along well with a wide range of people, comfortable in small or large group settings, articulate and able to demonstrate strong writing  and organization skills as well as strong attention to detail. This person must be flexible and enjoy the logistical challenges of supporting a dynamic team with diverse programs and building an organization from the ground up. 

The Program Coordinator is a Full Time exempt position. Exempt employees are expected to work the appropriate and necessary time to complete key assignments and related tasks on schedule.


  • Review eligibility and prescreen applicants for specific programs
  • Ability to do case research and gather relevant documents
  • Data entry and relevant followup
  • Calendering important dates and deadlines
  • Work with other organizations and state agency representatives as it relates to specific programs
  • Run and provide weekly status reports/ program updates to Director/ Program Manager/ SLT and/or others as needed.
  • Case management of files based on county specific programs 


  • Minimum of a BA or equivalent job-related experience preferred
  • At least 3 years legal experience required.
  • At least 3 years case management required.


  • Excellent calendar management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, quick turnaround and 100% follow through.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility and customer service orientation.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and a passion for FRRC's mission.
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
  • Requires broad knowledge criminal justice sentencing documents 


  • Support service experience in a nonprofit, public policy or social services environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of administrative online applications, such as Google Hangout, G-Suites,  and GoToMeeting, and utilization of agency websites
  • Legal and/or criminal justice related experience


The Program Coordinator will interact most frequently with the Department Director, Program Managers, and other staff. In addition, this person will also interact frequently community partners, vendors and industry stakeholders.


  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, bend, stand, climb up one flight of stairs and occasionally lift-up to 10 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Occasional independent travel by car or plane, with sporadic overnight hotel stays.
  • Program Coordinator will typically work a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally and nationally on occasion. This person will be required to use their personal automobile for business and must carry auto insurance and have a current driver’s license.
  • The ProgramCoordinator traditionally works in an office environment (Orlando-based HQ). Remote options are available.
  • Noise level is low, with low frequency interruptions.
