The Green League of Broward - bi-monthly meeting (Meeting)
Hello Green Leaguers and friends,
It's that time again. Every two months we get together to learn about environmental issues, network with the green community, and enjoy spending time with like-minded folks who care about the world around them.
I hope you can join us on Tuesday, September 16th at 7:30pm for a terrific time. Our last meeting drew over forty people!
The meeting will be hosted by Michael and Dick at 828 NE 16th Ct in Fort Lauderdale. Drinks and refreshments will be served. Directions are below.
This month we are pleased to have Vicki Eckels as our guest speaker. Vicki is a professional in the recycling industry and has recently completed a major solar installation at her home. She will be sharing a PowerPoint presentation on Renewable Energy Policy. Having known Vicki for the past two years, I am sure it will be an exciting presentation!
As always, this is your forum. If you would like the opportunity to share with the group, please let me know by Saturday, September 13th so I can add you to the agenda. Time is limited, so you may want to get on the list right away. Thanks again folks for all that you do. It's all your efforts that collectively are making a difference for the earth's future. | Directions: | From south of Sunrise Blvd - take Sunrise Blvd to NE 4th Ave (Home Depot on NE corner) and turn north. Go to NE 16th St and turn right. Go to NE 8th Ave and turn left. Go to NE 16th Ct and turn right, house is on the right hand side. From north of Oakland Park Blvd - take Oakland Park Blvd to Dixie Hwy and head south. Drive through five points and over the little bridge. Go to NE 16th Ct and turn right, house is on the left. Parking: park in the driveway or on the swale up and down NE 16th Ct.
