I visited the Florida delegation this morning at their morning breakfast. There's always some kind of internal politicking going on (would it be a true FDP gathering without it?) However, everyone is clearly very excited about the rest of the convention and the campaign ahead.

This morning brought inevitable conversation about last night's primary. Discussion centered around Alan Grayson's surprisingly large win over '06 candidate Charlie Stuart in the 8th Congressional District. There was also discussion of various precinct captain races (I mentioned this was an FDP gathering, right?)

Last night was pretty exciting. In addition to watching some high quality oratory from Brian Schweitzer and Hillary Clinton, I also attended a gathering hosted by the Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey delegations. Hillary AND Bill showed up in addition to Governors Rendell, Corzine, and Patterson. I had the privilege of shaking the former President's hand (briefly) - and yes, I do plan on washing it again.
