Amendments 5, 7, and 9 have been removed from the ballot by the Florida supreme court unanimously for all three amendments:

Amendment 5 and two voucher-related amendments have been knocked off the November ballot by the Florida Supreme Court, only hours after justices heard oral arguments.

The decisions were unanimous. "No motion for rehearing will be entertained," the court writes.

Damn. Talk about a smack down! Today Florida is spared from a mess of right-wing scheming. Amendment 2 still lingers out there, but it's good to know most of the right-wing riff-raff is off the ballot.

The right wing still has Amendment 2 to run amok with. No recognition of ANY protections for unmarried couples gay or straight. No civil unions, no domestic partnership for ANYONE. Let's not forget.
