Progressive Push
Progressive Push is about performance, not politics. Founded in 2008 as a Political Action Committee, Progressive Push will work to elect progressive candidates to office in the United States. We aim to build a state governments controlled by citizens, with policies that serve the public interest, not special interest. We will fight for pragmatic solutions that work for Americans. Our promise will be to train, guide, and offer support to our progressive candidates as well as to hold them accountable if they fall short of the promises they made. Our mission is to find new citizen legislators, people with the mind, spirit, and character to meet our ever evolving future and its many challenges. Our candidates will face challenges with foresight, pragmatism, and will be ready to tackle our issues with long-term solutions instead of short-term patches. Our responsibility is to raise funds to underwrite our efforts to help bring future generations the opportunity that only America has to offer. For once, for the people, by the people, will be more than a catch phrase. Through our trainings, our candidates will have the skills needed to compete and win elections. Citizen Legislators will acquire the abilities and temperament needed to combat the difficult issues facing America. Those educated in our courses will be given the tools to protect the great legacy of our Republic through their commitment to the Constitution.
